Privates

private

Our private sessions are tailored for you. With personal attention from your Instructor, you will be guided through each movement with focus and care. We recommend commencing with a private session if you are recovering from injury or surgery so your Instructor can understand your rehabilitation requirements.

Duets

duet

Our duet sessions (two clients per Instructor) are a cost-effective way to enjoy personal attention from your Instructor. Although you and your duet partner will share the session, your Instructor will customise exercises and repertoire to suit each of your individual goals and ability.

Initial Assessment

assessment

During this session, your Instructor will discuss your health history and goals and guide you through Pilates based movement tests to assess your strengths and limitations.

Is The Pilates Nook right for you?

Absolute beginners
The Essentials class and private/duet sessions are designed to build strong foundations. Studio recommends beginners start with privates or duets before moving to group classes.
Those recovering from injury or surgery
Private sessions allow instructors to understand your rehabilitation requirements and tailor movement to your recovery needs.
People with chronic conditions
Studio offers personalised, science-backed approaches tailored to individual health conditions and limitations.
Pre and post-natal clients
Multiple instructors hold Pre/Post Natal Pilates certifications and bring expertise in supporting women through pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
Those seeking community and support
Studio emphasises being a supportive community with friendly faces, encouraging energy, and a focus on making Pilates something clients look forward to.
Maybe not for you if… Maybe not for you if you prefer drop-in sessions without commitment — the studio requires a compulsory initial assessment before commencing private or duet work, and group classes assume some foundation knowledge.
