Here's how the class types differ and who each one is for.
Reformer Pilates
reformer
All ages and levels including postnatal. Not suitable for prenatal students past 12 weeks.
This signature Reformer Pilates workout emphasises balance, posture and alignment. You’ll experience a dynamic yet accessible approach to both contemporary and traditional Pilates routines. The reformer equipment and classical routines were originally developed by Joseph Pilates to rehabilitate, stabilise and restore balance to the body. By incorporating breath and movement, this practice helps to connect the mind and body in a holistic way. To ensure you receive personalised attention and guidance, we keep our classes small, with a maximum of 12 students per session. This allows for individual adjustments and corrections, ensuring you get the most out of each workout.
Pilates Mat
mat
Expect a flowing, well-rounded and challenging workout that will engage and strengthen your entire body. Pilates Mat classes are inspired by the original creations of Joseph Pilates. They are classical pilates classes with contemporary elements. Throughout the class, we incorporate core-based movements using your own body as resistance. This approach helps prevent injury, increase body awareness and improve strength, flexibility and coordination. Our Pilates Mat classes emphasise fluidity and are continuously evolving to provide ongoing challenge and progress for all participants.
Pilates Arc
mat
Pilates Arc is a workout designed to enhance abdominal strength and spinal mobility, utilising the Spine Corrector. The Pilates Arc supports your body, helping to isolate the abdominals while also stretching and strengthening the spine, providing a comprehensive full-body workout. This class is perfect for improving posture, as well as enhancing how your body looks, feels and performs.
Barre
barre
All ages and levels, including pre and postnatal students.
Barre is a fusion of ballet, Pilates and fitness that provides a full-body endurance workout. It combines the precision of Pilates with the grace of ballet and the intensity of a cardio session, all set to an energising playlist that keeps you moving. Expect to work up a sweat with low-impact, high-intensity sequences designed to build strength, stability and stamina. Each class blends standing Pilates exercises, functional movement and accessible ballet-inspired techniques to improve posture, flexibility, coordination and overall cardiovascular fitness. It’s a fun, empowering class that will challenge and energise you while leaving you feeling strong, balanced and confident.
Pilates Sculpt
mat
Pilates Sculpt combines the flow and precision of traditional Pilates with a focus on strength, endurance and full-body toning. Unlike a regular Pilates Mat class, this session incorporates dynamic, controlled movements designed to challenge your muscles and sculpt your body from head to toe. Through the use of weights, sliding discs and the balance beam, it delivers an intense workout that strengthens your body. This class addresses key fitness movement patterns such as squat, hinge and lunge to fully support and strengthen your body.
Yin Yoga
yoga
All ages and levels including prenatal and postnatal.
We move at a snails pace through long holds to target areas of resistance in the body. Yin yoga targets deep connective tissue underneath the muscle and is designed to heal the body. The nature of these classes makes for more of a moving meditation as we find ease through the discomfort, and use the breath to steady the mind. It's the stillness that can make these classes quite hard. Close your eyes and allow yourself to be wholeheartedly present.
Vinyasa Yoga
yoga
Vinyasa, our signature yoga flow class. Playful, energetic and creative, these classes link breath through movement. The accompanying playlist will have you grooving along on your mat. A full-body practice that gradually builds in pace and energy. Designed with plenty of options to meet you where you are, this class invites you to open space through the body. Expect fluid transitions, accessible strength work and playful options to remind you how much power you have within.
Breathwork
breathwork
All ages including pre and post-natal.
Release tension from the week and settle into stillness ready for the next. This breathwork practice draws from ancient wisdom and modern science to restore mental clarity and presence, and support deep relaxation before rest. Breathwork is an ancient practice that has gained modern recognition for its ability to alter states of consciousness and impact on mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. By consciously altering how you breathe, you can influence your nervous system, shifting into a parasympathetic “rest and digest” or activating sympathetic “fight or flight” states. These techniques allow you to ground into deep relaxation, energise you, or intentionally enter a controlled state of stress, assisting you to regulate and build resilience to better tolerate stress day-to-day.
