Here's how the class types differ and who each one is for.
Body Conditioning
Reformer pilatesMerging Pilates with energetic movements and weights, Body Conditioning is a dynamic, full-body class that will challenge you, raise your heart rate and challenge you to pick up those heavier weights. Expect to use the reformer, dumbbells and kettlebells in a fun, high-energy environment, which will leave you feeling accomplished and satisfied with yourself until the very last rep.
Strength Reformer
Reformer pilatesThis class is for people who love the environment of a pilates studio, but are also looking to increase their lean muscle mass. Lean muscle mass is the key to organ health and longevity and what creates a “toned” look. Expect to use heavier weights and springs than usual, repeat exercises over multiple sets to achieve progressive overload in this slower class that focuses on increasing your strength, muscle and health.
Contrology Essentials
Tower pilatesThe OG Pilates mat repertoire meets the tower in this slow burn class. The reformer is converted into a mat and incorporates springs from the tower, to create a unique experience of resistance that differs from the reformer alone. You will notice muscles you haven’t met before, and differences in your left and right side, which promotes concentration and a mind-body connection. Props like the Pilates ring, Pilates ball and booty bands feature in this endurance-style class. Friends, we can and will pulse it out.
Reformer Combo
Reformer ComboA match made in heaven, the reformer and tower are partnered together to challenge you by using as many muscle groups as possible in this class. A medium-paced class that can incorporate props and weights, while focusing on layering exercises to maximise your experience, as well as provide interest from the start to the very end of class. Reformer Combo will leave you feeling accomplished, satisfied and very pleased with yourself!
Reset & Active Recovery
Stretch, Mobility & BreathWe love your hard work and we know that it needs to be rewarded with an opportunity to reset. This class targets stiff, painful joints and transforms them into your superpower, unlocking movement you didn’t even know you had. Our Stretch, Mobility & Breath class slows down your schedule to include mobility as active recovery, so that you can access and improve your best range of motion. This is not your average pilates class, it aims to release tension, provide time to pause in stretches, and focus on breath to benefit you in the long run — and complement those days when you amp up your training intensity.
Reformer Repertoire
An exploration of the OG Reformer Repertoire in this 6 week series. A 45 minute workshop style class that aims to build skill and knowledge through working on the foundations of pilates in a considered way.
