Classes & who they suit

Here's how the class types differ and who each one is for.

Strengthen and Rebuild

Strengthen and Rebuild takes away principles of strength training and pilates practice. It is a great whole-body strengthening class that incorporates the use of weights, resistance bands and your own body weight. This class will leave you feeling challenged and stronger!

Studio Equipment

reformer

Studio Equipment classes are pilates-focused classes that incorporate the reformer machine, trapeze table, pilates chair, spine corrector, weights, therabands and your own body weight. The class is set up as a circuit and you will rotate through stations as you stretch and strengthen your whole-body. This class will leave you feeling lengthened, strengthened and challenged!

Endo and Pelvic Pain

reformer

We also hold a "Endo and Pelvic Pain" studio equipment class that performs the same as our studio equipment classes but has a larger focus on spinal and pelvic mobility, as well as strengthening movements in a gentle but challenging way that reduces the chance of flare up.

Over 50's

Over 50’s is a welcoming class that focuses on strength, balance and resistance training to improve bone density. We understand that women over the age of 50 benefit from more resistance training so we really like to push those weights! The Over 50’s class will not only give you a good workout but also leave you feeling a sense of community as you get to know like-minded women.

Mums and Bubs

Mums and Bubs takes away principles of strength training and pilates practice with a focus on postpartum recovery. Bubs are always welcome in the class and our friendly team is always willing to help settle your baby if you would like. The Mums and Bubs class will allow you to feel accomplished and like you have ticked off a health goal for the week!

Prenatal Exercise

Prenatal takes away principles of strength training and pilates practice with a focus on your prenatal journey, including awareness of pelvic floor, abdominal and musculoskeletal (ie pelvic pain) concerns that may arise during your pregnancy. The prenatal class can be joined at any time and will leave you feeling more prepared and ready to tackle birth and your postpartum period!

Unwind and Restore

yoga

Unwind and Restore is a therapeutic yoga class that takes away the principles of Yin Yoga. This is a slow, gentle and restorative class designed for the management of persistent pain conditions, relaxation of the mind and body, as well as working towards improved flexibility. This class will leave you feeling calm and relaxed!
