Here's how the class types differ and who each one is for.

Intro Class

Free intro offer
Beginner· 30 min

A full-body introduction to Pilates using state-of-the-art equipment. Perfect for experiencing the studio, equipment, and instructors. Complimentary for first-time visitors.

Level 1 Foundation

Beginner

Safe and effective class focused on form and alignment to master Pilates fundamentals. Ideal for all fitness levels, easily modified for physical limitations, focuses on overall body awareness.

Level 1.5 Progression

Intermediate

Builds on Level 1 with more complex movements and equipment use. Moderate tempo with steady flow, introducing intermediate exercises and balance/stability challenges. Requires Level 1 Foundation experience.

Level 2 Evolution

Intermediate

Moderate to fast-paced class challenging body and mind with advanced exercises. Incorporates quick transitions, strength focus, balance and stability challenges. Requires Level 1.5 experience and instructor approval.

Level 2.5 Mastery

Intermediate

Most advanced class level challenging precision and coordination. Best suited for those with mastered form and deep mind-body connection. Requires 3+ months Level 2 experience, instructor approval, and is not recommended for those with physical limitations.

Reformer Flow

Most popular
All levels

Signature contemporary Reformer class with classical Pilates foundation. Strengthens and lengthens entire body while improving balance and coordination. Flows between Reformer, Springboard, Chair, Mat and more.

Cardio Sculpt

Intermediate

High-energy, low-impact class using Jumpboard for plyometric movement. Creates aerobic workout gentle on joints with customisable spring tension. Recommended for those familiar with basic Pilates; proven to increase bone density.

Center + Balance

All levels

Light movement and deep stretching using apparatus to re-centre and balance the body. Helps reduce soreness, improve performance, decrease injury risk, and increase blood flow.

Control

Intermediate

Standing class inspired by Joseph Pilates' work with dancers. Sculpts legs and glutes using Reformer, Springboard, gliding discs, fitness ball, and free weights. Enhances everyday functional strength and balance.

Restore

All levels

Combines Reformer movements with TriggerPoint™ myofascial release for muscle and joint repair. Reduces soreness, increases performance, reduces injury risk. Not recommended for those with osteoporosis, diabetes, high blood pressure, varicose veins, or pregnant individuals.

Suspend

Intermediate

Combines Pilates with TRX® suspension training system created by Navy SEAL. Tests Pilates body with stability challenges enhancing strength, coordination, mobility, and balance. Excellent for runners, golfers, tennis players, cyclists.

Circuit

Intermediate

Heart-pumping full-body class delivered in three progressive rounds. Combines strength, mobility, and cardio across Pilates apparatus. Perfect for those seeking athletic edge and purposeful intensity.

Teen (Expression of Interest)

Is Club Pilates Stanhope Gardens right for you?

Absolute beginners
Level 1 Foundation and Intro Class designed specifically for safe introduction with focus on form and alignment. Classes easily modified for all fitness levels.
People with physical limitations
Level 1 Foundation is easily modified for those with limitations and focuses on overall body awareness. Center + Balance and Restore also accommodate modifications.
Athletes and sports enthusiasts
Suspend class specifically designed for runners, golfers, tennis players, and cyclists. Circuit and Control enhance functional movement and performance.
Recovery and flexibility seekers
Center + Balance and Restore classes focus on stretching, myofascial release, and muscle repair.
Teenagers
A dedicated Teen program (ages 14–19) is not currently running at Stanhope Gardens — contact the studio to register your interest.
Cardio enthusiasts
Cardio Sculpt is high-energy, low-impact option using Jumpboard for plyometric movement and proven bone density benefits.
Maybe not for you if… Restore is not recommended for those with osteoporosis, diabetes, high blood pressure, varicose veins, or during pregnancy. Level 2.5 Mastery is not recommended for those with physical limitations.
